Star Global Trading went into administration on Monday 15th February after a period of challenging trading conditions and debt issues.

Based in Salford, the perfume and fragrance distributor unfortunately has had to make 100 employees redundant while joint administrators, Kevin Murphy and John Titley from Leonard Curtis, aim to find a suitable buyer.

Despite the company failing to secure a buyer, there has been some recent interest in the company therefore it will continue to trade for a short period of time. This will maximise creditors’ best interests if a buyer is found.
