The lifting equipment specialist has appointed joint administrators, Michael Denny, David Baxendale and Matthew Hammond from PwC to oversee the process. Around 200 employees are at risk of being made redundant.

Specialising in the inspection, certification and repairs of lift equipment, the company operates 12 sites around the UK with headquarters in Sutton Coldfield.

The company has struggled with cash flow due to falling sales and impact of the unstable oil and gas industries.

Baxendale commented, “We are continuing to trade the business as normal whilst discussions take place with interested parties around a sale. We are working closely with the company employees, customers and suppliers as we seek to achieve a successful outcome for all stakeholders.”
